Software Tester
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester with 2–4 years of QA experience, ideally within healthcare or clinical data domains. You will own the quality and reliability of our platform through rigorous manual testing and validation, working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure every release is production-ready and functionally sound.
You will be testing systems where accuracy matters deeply — our platform powers clinical trial matching and patient care decisions at some of the world’s top cancer centers. A missed edge case here isn’t a cosmetic bug; it affects real healthcare workflows.
What You’ll Work On:
- End-to-End Product Testing: Own functional testing across the platform — UI workflows clinicians use daily, backend APIs, and EHR integration touchpoints.
- Release Readiness: Run comprehensive Smoke, Integration, System, and Regression cycles to ensure every release meets the bar for production deployment.
- Test Coverage & Documentation: Author, maintain, and execute clear, repeatable test cases with comprehensive coverage across critical product flows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams from requirement to release, catching issues early and preventing regressions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test plans across UI, APIs, and EHR integration flows
- Author and maintain clear, repeatable test cases with strong coverage
- Run Smoke, Integration, System, and Regression suites on every release cycle
- Partner with engineers to reproduce, isolate, and document issues with clear repro steps and contextual data
- Translate product requirements into concrete test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Maintain validation documentation aligned with quality standards
- Track features, defects, and software versions across releases with rigor
- Contribute to QA process improvements that raise test reliability and coverage over time
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prevent bugs at the design stage — not just catch them at the end
Must Haves:
- 2–4 years of hands-on QA experience on production software
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, with proven discipline around test documentation
- Hands-on experience executing Smoke, Integration, System, and Regression test cycles
- Proficiency with ALM and collaboration tools — JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or equivalents
- Comfort testing across UI, APIs, and integrated systems
- Quality-obsessed — you treat quality as a product feature, not a checkbox
- Strong written communication for test cases, bug reports, and validation documentation
Good to Have:
- Experience in health-tech, EHR integrations, or HIPAA-regulated environments
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, CCDA)
- Hands-on exposure to test automation frameworks (Selenium or similar)
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong ownership mindset — you own outcomes, not just test cases
- Quality-obsessed — a missed edge case here isn’t cosmetic; it affects real workflows
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
- Collaborative — you work with engineers to prevent bugs, not just find them
- Sound judgment to prioritize risk and coverage when time is tight
- Detail-oriented with the patience to validate complex, data-intensive workflows thoroughly
Why Join Us?
- Impact at scale: The quality you ensure directly affects AI workflows that accelerate cancer research and improve patient outcomes globally
- Cutting-edge problems: Test complex, data-intensive systems at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and scale
- World-class team: Collaborate with top talent across AI, engineering, and product with best-in-industry compensation
- Culture that ships: Fast-paced, ownership-driven environment with company-sponsored workations (Bali, Sri Lanka, Goa, and more)
Perks & Benefits:
- Lunch provided at the office — one less daily decision
- Flexible working hours — we care about output, not clock-ins
- Comprehensive health insurance for you and your family
- Zomato meal benefits for early starts and late nights
